FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE Information Services
The Fraternal Order of Police keeps it's members informed about lodge activities and about a broad range of topics related to law enforcement issues. Keeping members informed is a priority of the Grand Lodge. The Journal, is published quarterly for every member and includes the latest news from F.O.P. board members and committees. Also included are informative articles about local success stories, police labor topics, and news of upcoming events and seminars. The Newswatch newsletter is published monthly and sent to lodge leaders to keep them updated on the latest news. It features the Washington Report by the Executive Director of the F.O.P.'s Washington office, providing updates on the activity of currently pending legislation. Labor and Law Notes is published quarterly and provides news regarding the latest court decisions affecting police labor issues and the results of F.O.P. wage and benefit surveys. Web Sites & Pages are being constructed daily for the distribution of information among the membership and to educate the public as to just what the F.O.P. is and what it is about.
