Legal Defense Plan - Provides legal services for administrative, criminal and civil actions arising from an officer's performance of duty. It is a self-funding Legal Defense Plan available only to F.O.P. members that is owned and operated by the Fraternal Order of Police Legal Plan, Inc. Moonlighting Liability - Covers officers and their extra duty employer up to $100,000 in liability. Other liability programs do not extend coverage to the employer. That means a Fraternal Order of Police member with this coverage is preferred over other service providers who do not have this coverage. Fidelity Bonding - Article 19 of the Grand Lodge Constitution and Bylaws requires that each state and local lodge secure and maintain bonding on its officers to insure against dishonest acts. Special Events Liability - covers lodges for liability when conducting special event fund raisers.
